When she’s not helping clients, you’ll find her wrangling stories, systems, or a good cup of coffee.

Tanya Viglione, retired U.S. Coast Guard veteran, is the founder and owner of Snow Thistle Teas & Treasures, a small business rooted in family tradition, service, and a deep love for the culinary arts. Drawing on generations of cooking and a lifelong dedication to serving others, Tanya created Snow Thistle as a way to bring joy, comfort, and connection through artisan teas and handcrafted goods. Her mission is to offer healthy, sustainable options that not only tantalize the taste buds but also contribute to the well-being of the community.

Marking Specialist and Physician Liaison

Ali Cano has been working with the cancer community in Alaska for the past 10 years. She worked with nonprofit Let Every Woman Know – Alaska raising awareness of gynecologic cancers and supporting patients and then with the State of Alaska strengthening a statewide cancer coalition called the Alaska Cancer Partnership.

With a focus on the Anchorage Radiation Oncology Clinic and Mat-Su Valley Cancer Center, Ali will be assisting the clinics with social media and physician referrals. She will also help administer the Patient Support Fund.

Ali has lived in Alaska for most of her life including the Mat-Su Valley, Delta Junction, Fairbanks, and now Anchorage. She enjoys hiking and cycling in the summer and ice skating and snowboarding in the winter.

Taylor Jordan, Owner, Black Birch Books – Taylor has owned Black Birch Books for 7 years as Wasilla’s only bookstore and Alaska’s only commercial location bookbinder and restoration specialist. She exclusively hires homeless youth from the Mat-Su and has almost 20 in person events a month. Taylor loves supporting the community and seeks out opportunities to help!

 

Rosa Quintana, New York Life Agent- My journey with the American Cancer Society started as an event volunteer and has developed with the organization. Cancer touched my family and I wanted to be a good resource to my family, my surroundings and my community.
